The pilot of a glider plane says he began to lose altitude and did not have enough lift to make it back to the airport when he made an emergency landing in Warren County.
Blairstown police say that the pilot was unable to make it to Blairstown Airport on Sunday afternoon and had to make a controlled landing in a cornfield in Blairstown around 2 p.m.
Police say that a local firefighter helped to find the plane using a drone.
The pilot was not seriously injured.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the Flight Standards District Office are investigating.
