Police: New Jersey suspect arrested in fatal shooting of Bronx man

A Bronx man is dead after he was shot and killed by a man from New Jersey, according to police.
Authorities say Phillip Martinez, 36, of the Bronx, was shot in the head along East Mosholu Parkway on Aug. 20. He was taken to a hospital where he died three days later.
Police apprehended the suspect Jason Soto, 44, of New Jersey. He is facing murder and manslaughter charges.
