State police say more than 200 accidents were reported when slush and pooling on roads was its worst early Saturday morning during the season's first significant snowfall.
Most areas experienced slushy roads as temperatures warmed, melting some of the snow that accumulated.
Route 3 was in overall good condition for tailgaters heading to MetLife Stadium for Saturday's Jets game.
