A Monroe Township medical biller has been arrested for stealing over $1 million between 2012 and 2019.

Police say Amrish Patel took funds intended for surgeons caring for injured workers under New York’s Workers’ Compensation Law.

Police say his company, Medlink, handled billing for a Brooklyn-based orthopedic surgery practice.

Patel now faces multiple charges including grand larceny. He was released on bond with electronic monitoring.
