Police: Man made sexual contact with 2 women near Rutgers campus, tried to harass 3 more

Police said that there were reports of five separate sexual harassment incidents in New Brunswick involving Jose Paulino, a 33-year-old man.

Security is heightened at Rutgers University in New Brunswick after a man was arrested for sexually harassing multiple people.
Police said that there were reports of five separate sexual harassment incidents involving Jose Paulino, a 33-year-old man.
According to authorities, Paulino made sexual contact with two female victims and attempted to sexually harass at least three others.

The first four reports were made between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 30. The final one came the next evening at 6:40 p.m. on Halloween.
Police said Paulino approached the women while walking near campus near the intersection of Bishop Place and Bartlett Street on The College Avenue Campus.
Rutgers police are increasing public safety presence in the off-campus area and urge students to remain aware and report suspicious activity.
