Prosecutors have launched an investigation into the discovery of three deceased elderly people discovered inside a Mount Holly home on Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the scene by a postal worker who found “a note on the door indicating that 911 should be called.”
Responding officers entered the residence in the unit block of Winding Way and found the bodies.
Officials say the identities are being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
Autopsies are being performed by the Burlington County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing and prosecutors say there is no current threat to the public.
