(AP) -- Authorities say a New Jersey man used a bow and arrow to kill two of his ex-girlfriend's kittens following a domestic violence incident at their home.
Greenwich Township police say 32-year-old Timothy Cain faces animal cruelty and other charges. His bail was set at $7,500 and it wasn't known Friday if he's retained an attorney.
Police went to the home Wednesday after Cain's ex-girlfriend reported the kittens' deaths. They say one was found in the backyard, while the other was in a refrigerator.
Several other cats in the house weren't hurt. Police say they found the bow and arrow in the home.
A telephone number for Cain could not be located Friday. Authorities say Cain was living in the house even though he and the woman had ended their relationship.
