Police: Man in critical condition following shooting in Montclair; 2 arrests in connection made

Police in Montclair say a man is in critical condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds following a shooting, and two people believed to be in connection with the shooting are under arrest.

Police in Montclair say a man is in critical condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds following a shooting, and two people believed to be in connection with the shooting are under arrest.
According to police, the shooting happened Tuesday around 1:58 p.m. in the area of 50 Greenwood Ave.
Police responded to a report of shots fired and upon arrival, located the injured 30-year old male from Montclair lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 
The man was transported to University Hospital in Newark, where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Police say two individuals believed to be in connection with the shooting were arrested and are in custody. Charges are pending.
Multiple firearms were recovered from the scene. The shooting appears to be an isolated incident believed to be stemming from a dispute between people that knew each other. There is no danger to the public.
