A 12-year-boy who went missing in Lumberton on Sunday has returned home.
Tymin Coleman was found safe on Monday and was reunited with his family.
“I haven’t slept. I have not slept. I’ve been worried. I’ve been trying to be positive and be strong for my son these last few hours, and he’s found and I’m just so happy,” said mother Jasim Jackson.
The boy went missing after dinner time Sunday night and had last been seen in his neighborhood on Estate Road. Police canvassed the area for hours, talking with neighbors and checking backyards and sheds.
“He means everything to me. He’s my first-born son and his baby brother is in the house right now, so he means everything. He’s everything to me,” Jackson said.
It was unclear why Coleman went missing or where he was located. Officials say that he was found unharmed.
The family wants to thank the public for sharing the boy’s photo and for helping to get the word out about his disappearance.
