Police locate vehicle in hit-and-run that killed teen in Lakewood

Detectives say they have located the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a teen Friday night.

Detectives say they have located the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a teen Friday night.
The 2014 black Jeep Cherokee was found at a Toms River home just after 1 p.m. Sunday, according to police.
Police say that the Jeep hit a father and son who were walking down Oak Street just after 9 p.m. Friday night.
Jesus Lopez Grande, a 15-year-old student at Lakewood High School, was killed. His father was injured.
The vehicle is now in police possession as the investigation continues, but police have not released further information on the case at this time.
A $3,600 reward is being offered by the Lakewood Board of Education. for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
A vigil was held for Lopez Grande Sunday night at Lakewood High School.
