A 29-year-old man from Elmwood Park was charged with drunk driving after a multivehicle crash on Friday night.
Police say Jean Lizardo hit eight cars and injured three people at the intersection of Mola Boulevard and Godwin Avenue before 6 p.m.
There was extensive damage to the vehicles involved and car parts were scattered on the roadway and sidewalk, according to police.
Three people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Lizardo was charged with driving while intoxicated.
