Haledon police say they dismantled an ecstasy manufacturing operation Saturday and made an arrest.
Police say a search warrant was executed at a residence on the 300th block of Haledon Avenue after they investigated information provided by a concerned citizen.
The search led to the arrest of 23-year-old Santiago Zapata-Palomeque, according to authorities.
Police say they found evidence in his bedroom, including two five-gallon buckets of MDMA, drug manufacturing equipment and fraudulent government identification documents. Small amounts of additional MDMA and cocaine were also seized.
Police say Zapata-Palomeque is currently awaiting a hearing.
