Police: Brick Township man charged in hit-and-run crash

A Brick Township man has been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident on Wednesday night, according to police.

Officers say they responded to the scene of a single-car crash at the intersection of Scheoner and Brick Boulevard around 8 p.m.

Upon arrival, they found that the car had struck a utility pole. The driver also fled on foot.

An investigation later determined that Nicholas Lotito had lost control of the vehicle with two passengers inside.
