Police in Andover Township say a woman was drunk when she repeatedly ran over and seriously injured her friend following an argument in the parking lot of a strip club.
The incident happened Sunday around 1:50 a.m. outside the Bare Den on Route 206.
According to police, Jacqueline Lowe, 22, of Pompton Lakes, drove off after the incident happened, but was pulled over minutes later and taken into custody.
She has been charged with assault by auto and drunken driving, among other offenses.
The woman who was hit remains in a hospital in stable condition.
