Police: Crossbow arrow found lodged in door of Lakewood home

A crossbow arrow was found lodged in the front door of a home in Lakewood, according to police.
Lakewood police say that the incident happened before 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 16. They say that the homeowner found the arrow, which had pierced through the front door.
Police say that given the fact that the home is located near several wooded areas known for hunting, they believe that it was likely fired by a hunter accidentally.
No one was hurt.
Police say that hunters should be reminded to hunt safely and responsibly.
