Police say the same intruder crept into the bedrooms of two girls in two Glen Rock homes in one night.
According to authorities, the incidents happened two hours apart. However, the homes are only five minutes away from each other.
The girls are also close in age, one 17 and the other 16 years old. Police are looking for connections between the girls and the families to learn how the intruder knew how to target them and find their bedrooms.
?He obviously knows his way around the homes,? says Capt. Fred Stahman, of the Glen Rock Police Department. ?It?s kind of puzzling and frustrating for us right now because we're getting different information, and we're trying to put it all together."
The 17-year-old reportedly fought off her attacker after he broke into her home. The younger girl says she was awake and the suspect fled after she spoke to him.
