A man wanted in connection with an international carjacking and stolen car ring that targeted luxury vehicles in New Jersey and New York has been captured.
NJ.com reports that Kenneth Daniels was arrested Thursday in Irvington and is being held on $1 million bail.
Daniels had been on the run since last month, when he was charged along with 21 others as part of a car theft ring that was broken up by the state attorney general's office. Most of the men have been apprehended.
He's charged with racketeering, receiving stolen property and related offenses. It's unclear what role he played in the ring, which targeted vehicles including Land Rovers, Maseratis and Bentleys.
It's unclear if he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
