A drive-by shooting outside of a Newark bodega left nearly a dozen people, including a teenager, recovering from injuries.
Police say the shooting happened just after 6:15 p.m. Thursday on the 200 block of Clinton Place.
A spokesperson for the department says that four adults and a 17-year-old were taken to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for Treatment. Another four victims were taken to University Hospital. All victims are expected to be OK.
It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting. Police say they are looking for a white Honda Pilot that was stolen out of Jersey City that is connected to the shooting.
No arrests have been announced.
