Three people were stabbed Friday night in Newark during a fight, police say.

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé says that the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. near 12th Avenue near Morris Avenue.

Fragé says that officers found three people at the location with stab wounds. They were taken to University Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been announced.
