A 23-year-old Hamilton man riding a motorcycle was killed Wednesday in a collision with another vehicle, police said.
According to Hamilton police, Casey Navarro was riding a 2014 Honda CBR on the northbound side of Quakerbridge Road at approximately 2:23 p.m. when the motorcycle came in contact with the rear driver's side corner of a 2016 Mercedes GLA. The vehicle was being driven in front of him by a 47-year-old Bayville woman.
"Upon impacting the rear of the Mercedes, Navarro was ejected from his motorcycle and came to rest within the interior northbound lane of Quakerbridge Road," Hamilton police said in a statement. "The Mercedes exited the roadway to the right and came to a stop on the front lawn of an adjacent residence."
Following the crash, Navarro was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical center where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Mercedes was not injured, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the crash to call the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit at 609-581-4000.
