Police say a 14-year old boy was arrested in Paterson with a stolen handgun and 266 glassines of heroin.

According to police, they saw the boy with a 9-millimeter handgun Tuesday in his waistband on the street after investigating an area in the city at the intersection of Governor Street and Carroll Street known to be a hotspot for drugs and violence.

Police say it was revealed he was in possession of a silver handgun that had been reported stolen out of Virginia.

He was also found to be in possession of 266 glassines of heroin. He faces drug and firearm charges.
