A 12-year-old boy is recovering from minor injuries after he was hit by a car in Jersey City.
It happened Monday around 4 p.m. at the intersection of JFK Boulevard and Hague Street.
According to police, the boy was walking home from school at the time.
Police say the driver remained on scene and was ticketed for failing to stop for a pedestrian.
