Police say a 10-year-old boy from Keyport was rushed to the hospital tonight after being shot while playing with a gun. It's still unclear how the boy got the gun. Police say they are talking to the family and to neighbors to determine exactly what happened.

The boy was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center. The boy's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
