Multiple members of the Bloods gang are accused of gunrunning on Long Island.

Authorities say they recovered 11 rifles and shotguns and 62 handguns in the bust of an illegal gun trafficking operation in Suffolk.

Suffolk District Attorney Tim Sini says the weapons were trafficked into Suffolk from 15 different states through what is known as the Iron Pipeline.

Officials say the suspects bought these guns out of state, smuggled them into New York and sold them to people in Suffolk.
After a year-long investigation, 14 Bloods gang members and associates have been accused in a 127-count indictment.
The suspects accused in the trafficking operation live in, Deer Park, Huntington Station, Bellport, Selden, Patchogue, Hempstead and Lynchburg, Virginia.

Authorities say the suspects took part in the sales of these weapons on more than 50 occasions over the course of the year.
Sini says investigators were able to find the guns and makes arrests before the weapons were used in crimes.

Authorities have arrested 10 of the 14 people they believe are involved in the gun trafficking ring. The 10 in custody have been arraigned, and warrants have been issued for the additional four suspects.
