New Jersey State Police say that one person was killed in a crash involving a box truck and a tractor-trailer.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m. near mile marker 119.5 in Teaneck. Police say that the box truck crashed into the back of the tractor-trailer in the northbound express lanes.

 

First responders had to cut the driver of the box truck out of the vehicle. His identity was not released.

Lanes on the highway were closed for a time, causing a traffic back up.
