Many parents approved of the broadcast of President Obama?s education speech viewed at a middle school in Piscataway Tuesday.
Many students felt empowered after hearing directly from the president. Parents of students at Quibbletown Middle School embraced the opportunity for their children to view Obama?s speech.
Damian Almeida, an 8th grader, says the speech was a good idea because Obama reached out to students and made them aware of given opportunities.
Former President George H.W. Bush similarly addressed students in 1991 and former President Ronald Reagan fielded questions about tax cuts to students in 1988.
