Piscataway mayor says two Conrail employees are heroes for saving a man they found face down in floodwater Monday night.
Mayor Brian Wahler said on his Facebook page that police in town received a call about someone being trapped in their car in floodwater.
When first responders arrived, a pair of Conrail workers were also on scene checking on a report of downed wires on nearby tracks.
Those employees spotted the man, face down in the water, and pulled him out. They then gave him CPR.
The mayor says the man was later talking and taken to a hospital.
