Petition calls for cameras in park where Bridgeton girl disappeared from
A petition drive is underway to encourage Bridgeton city officials to install security cameras in a park where a 5-year-old girl went missing last year.
Dulce Maria Alvarez vanished from Bridgeton City Park on Sept. 16 as she was playing with her younger brother. She has not been seen since, despite hundreds of hours spent searching the park and surrounding areas.
Law enforcement officials say that they have received thousands of tips from the public. Bridgeton officials say that they are doing everything they can to continue to look for the girl.
The petition for cameras has about 2,000 signatures so far.
