PETA calls for Punxsutawney Phil’s retirement, offers gold coin as groundhog’s replacement
The organization has offered to send a giant gold coin to the club as a replacement because the groundhog’s weather predictions are “no more reliable than a coin toss."

The organization has offered to send a giant gold coin to the club as a replacement because the groundhog’s weather predictions are “no more reliable than a coin toss."
PETA also wants to come up with a new name for Groundhog Day. One suggestion includes “Weather There'll Be More Winter Day."
