Perth Amboy police issue more than a dozen summons for popup street takeover

Videos posted on social media showed several vehicles doing donuts at the base of the Victory Bridge.

More information has been released about a Perth Amboy street takeover that occurred on Sunday.
One person was arrested, and his car was impounded. Deyvi Navarette-Menjivar, 21, of Plainfield, was charged with disorderly conduct and interference of transportation. He awaits a court appearance.
Police now say that more than a dozen summonses were issued and that more citations are expected.
Police say that two vehicles were hit by debris and there was a minor crash involving a vehicle that was fleeing the scene.
Videos posted on social media showed several vehicles doing donuts at the base of the Victory Bridge, blocking traffic in all four directions for nearly 20 minutes.
