A teacher at the Pequannock School District is accused of sexually assaulting a student.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office says William Arnold, 53, is accused of sexually assaulting a student on multiple occasions. The student was 15 and 16 years old at the time. Officials say that Arnold worked in the school where the victim attends.

Arnold faces multiple charges, including aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

He has been suspended by the school district, according to officials.
