(AP) - A PATH train that struck a bumper block at astation in midtown Manhattan caused 14 people to be injured.
Port Authority spokeswoman Jen Friedberg said Wednesday the 7:59a.m. train out of Hoboken, N.J., struck the bumper as it arrived atabout 8:15 a.m.
Friedberg said seven of the injured were taken to hospitals fortreatment; the others were treated at the scene. She said two ofthe injured were train workers.
Friedberg says service is normal, and was never interrupted.
