A school in Paterson changed its name to honor a late educator that helped students for over three decades.
Paterson students, teachers and staff joined the family of Anna Landoli at the 14th Avenue Early Learning Center for a ribbon cutting and renaming ceremony.
The Paterson native spent 33 years working in the city's school system before she died in 2019.
Colleagues and former students say her mission was to make sure "every child deserves a chance."
The school was renamed the “Anna Landoli Early Learning Center.”
