Paterson School District to reopen for in-person learning next month; staff urged to be sensitive with students

Paterson's Superintendent of Schools Eileen F. Shafer released a statement saying staff members and students will be back inside buildings in June.   
Shafer says teachers will be back on the first of the month, with students returning the week after.

Returning staff members are being urged to be sensitive with the returning students and with each other during the first phase of reopening. 
More than $19.6 million has been spent to provide several layers of protection against COVID-19, including air purifiers in every room and air scrubbers in the rooms where they are required.
