2ds agoAll Paterson public schools will be closed on Wednesday due to the ongoing flooding conditions in the city.
Officials initially announced that schools would be opened with a 90-minute delay. But school officials said that the heavy rain on Monday is still making it a safety issue for students and staff to travel around the city.
All after-school programs will also be canceled for Wednesday.
The district is expected to reopen on Thursday.
