The Paterson Police Department is searching for a man who allegedly stole cash from a bus driver and then fled the scene in the bus.
Authorities said the armed robbery occurred around 2:45 a.m. on June 1 near Main Street and Broadway in Paterson.
The victim, who is a driver of the city’s express bus service, reported that a man who had a brass knuckles type of knife stole $200 from him and then drove off in the bus.
Surveillance video from the bus captured the suspect driving the vehicle from the scene of the robbery. The bus was later recovered in Paterson.
