Police say a Paterson man has been charged with child sexual assault.

They say Miguel Medina is accused of assaulting and showing pornography to a 7-year-old.

According to officials, Medina was arrested in Puerto Rico and brought back to the U.S. earlier this week.

He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
