19h agoPassaic County residents across one city and three boroughs are forced to continue boiling their water 11 days after the water main break in Paterson.
It's been a nightmare for the 200,000 people impacted.
A boil water advisory is still in effect for Haledon, North Haledon, Prospect Park and parts of Paterson.
In Haledon there is a local water declaration of emergency until further notice so water distribution and showers are still available at the Rec Center.
You must provide a proof of address and bring your own supplies from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Passaic Valley Water Commission says crews are working 24-7 to repair the water main and restore full service, but haven't given an exact date as to when everything will complete.
