Patchogue Village has finally approved the plan for a four-story hotel at the site of an old bowling alley, which has been under review for over a year.
As News 12 reported, the plan would bring a four-story building to West Avenue.
The hotel would include 96 guest rooms and a rooftop bar. Some residents say this project would be great for the local economy. Others say it'll create a traffic nightmare.
The village says it's doing everything possible to mitigate community traffic concerns. A spokesperson for the developer says they will look further into potential traffic impacts.
The board approved a crucial zoning change for the site in January.
