Passaic hospital hit hard by pandemic receives Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic received Moderna's coronavirus vaccine Wednesday.
It's now begun vaccinating its front-line employees and physicians.
The hospital was hit hard by the first wave of the virus in the spring.
Nine employees lost their lives to the virus, and several dozen became severely ill.
St. Mary's said it plans to inoculate at least a third of its workforce by the end of the year.
