Two workers were injured Saturday when a parking garage collapsed in Elmwood Park.

The incident occurred just before noon while contractors were renovating the garage at the Elmwood Village Apartments.

Police say two men were on the garage roof when it collapsed. Both were taken to a hospital – one with serious injuries, the other with minor injuries.

The cause of the collapse was not immediately available as officials investigate the incident.
