A Memorial Day weekend tradition is going on in the New York harbor.
Fleet week is here and News 12 New Jersey got a firsthand look at the parade of ships that will run from the Verrazano to the George Washington Bridge.
The "Morning Mist," captained by the U.S. Coast Guard auxiallry is leading the parade. Its their job to clear the channel for the bigger ships and lead them to a place to moor for the night.
The events continue through Memorial Day.
