Overnight rain pulls in cooler temperatures

Temps for the rest of the week will be in the lower 60s instead of the lower 70s.

A batch of overnight rain crosses New Jersey between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
This will drop temperatures for Wednesday that keep highs in the lower 60s. There will be sunshine and breezy conditions for the midday.
The temperatures remain cool for the rest of the week with passing clouds and fair conditions. There will be a few showers north of New Jersey through Thursday and Friday, but it will be dry locally with the exception of a rogue windswept sprinkle.
This weekend's weather looks great and very autumn-like with temperatures in the lower 60s under a sunny sky.
