4 residents, multiple firefighters injured in Jersey City fire

Firefighters responded to the scene at the corner of Summit Avenue and Mercer Street, finding flames shooting out of the back of the building.

A fire damaged a laundromat and apartments in Jersey City overnight, injuring four residents and multiple firefighters.
Firefighters responded to the scene at the corner of Summit Avenue and Mercer Street, finding flames shooting out of the back of the building.
Four residents, including two adults and two juveniles, were seriously injured. Multiple firefighters received medical attention for various injuries.
The Red Cross is providing emergency financial assistance to at least 18 people.
The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force and the Jersey City Fire Department are investigating the fire.
