About 240 police officers from various departments around New Jersey were retrained in Trenton today after a mandate by Attorney General Matt Platkin.
The mandate came after reports and videos of inappropriate training practices by the firm Street Cop Training at a seminar in Atlantic City back in 2021.
Video recordings were released that showed more than 100 offensive comments made by speakers at the event showing its police training seminars were racist and offensive to women.
A state investigation found speakers encouraged police to violate constitutional rights.
