The Oradell community paid their final respects Sunday to a soldier who was killed in a helicopter crash last month.
It was a somber occasion as the hearse carried the 23-year-old soldier's flag draped casket through the community.
Family, friends, teachers and veterans lined the streets as the procession moved along Kinderkamack Road and Lake Street and ended at Soldier Hill Road at Basralian Funeral Home.
Solinas was a member of the 101st Airborne Division.
His wake will be held Friday afternoon at Our Lady of Mercy in Park Ridge. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday morning at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.
Solinas will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
