A charity organization provided meals to New Jersey-based military service members who are away from their families for the holidays.
Operation Homefront provided meals for more than 200 military members stationed at Joint Base-McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
Holiday Meals for Military started in 2009. The organization handed out meals at more than 30 military bases across the country this year.
Organizers say that in its nine-year history, Operation Homefront has handed out meals to more than 70,000 military personnel and to more than 300,000 of their family members.
More information about the organization can be found at its website.
