Officials in Jersey City say an individual dropped off several bizarre, rambling letters Wednesday at multiple locations, including City Hall, a business, schools, residences and municipal court, making six locations in total.
According to school officials, an envelope was left on the dock of PS#3 and Middle School #4 Wednesday morning.
The schools contacted police. Classes were not disrupted since students were off.
There is no word on what the letters said, but there were no threats to the locations or individuals and the person responsible is not in custody at this time.
Police are still probing the matter and conferring with the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office to determine if any charges are warranted.
