Essex County authorities have released a sketch of what they believe a woman looked like before she was killed and stuffed into a suitcase.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office says the woman's body was found in Newark earlier this month. Authorities say the remains were found by a construction crew near Raymond Boulevard and Van Buren Street, by the Passaic River.
The woman was wearing a red blouse and gray slacks, but she had no identification and a check of her fingerprints turned up nothing. It is believed she had never been arrested.
Anyone who recognizes the woman or has any other information is urged to contact the Essex County Prosecutor's Office at 1-877-847-7432. Human remains found in suitcase in Newark
