Officials: Off-campus party connected to recent outbreak of COVID-19 cases at Fairleigh Dickinson University

A recent outbreak of coronavirus cases at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus has now been connected to an off-campus party that was held Saturday.

A recent outbreak of coronavirus cases at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus has now been connected to an off-campus party that was held Saturday.
According to the university's website, there were at least four new positive cases on the Teaneck and Hackensack grounds, bringing the total amount of on-campus cases to six.
The number is in addition to 11 cases in off-campus students.
The school has closed the Rothman Center gymnasium on the Metropolitan Campus for 36 hours to facilitate deep cleaning.
Only one staff member has tested positive to date.
